Memorial Inscription. (Section A.)

Erected by John Coogan Dundee in memory of Mgt. Coupar, his wife, who died 3rd March, 1862 aged 32years also their children Elizabeth and Ann who died in infancy. The above John Coogan, outdoor collector of Rates, Dundee Parish Council, for 41 years - died August, 1901 aged 81 years.

The above John Coogan, outdoor collector of Rates, Dundee Parish Council for 41 years - died 26th August, 1901 aged 81 years, interred in Balgay Cemetery.
John Coogan, clothier, Dundee, died 15th April, 1833, aged 43. Jane Keating, his wife, died 18th June, 1876 aged 75, their son Michael was lost at sea 10th April 1834 aged 16.
