Monumental Inscription (Section F.)

Erected by David Duff (Shipmaster) and James Duff (printer) as a memorial of their father, John Duff, (Spirit Dealer) who died while they were in infancy and of their mother, Marjory Robertson, who died 23rd January 1837 aged 82 years. Also of their brother, Alexander Duff, who died at sea 25th November 1820 aged 28 years, and of their sister, Jean Duff who died 22nd January 1848 in memory of Janet Duff, relict of John Mudie (manufacturer, Seagate) who died 28th Oct. 1862 and of their daughters Jane Duff Mudie who died 16th October 1865 and Jessie Mudie who died 16th May 1868.
