Monumental Inscription (Section F.)

Erected by James Chapman (Confectioner) in memory of his wife, Margaret Ritchie, who died 8th December 1852 aged 25 years. And of their son, John, died 27th March 1853 aged 13 months, Mary died 24th August, 1904 aged 53 years. Also of his wife Catharine Henderson, born 18th December 1822 died 30th January 1890. Their daughter Jane born 28th December 1860 died 31st May 1861, William born 7th May 1863 died 14th July 1864. The above James Chapman born 20th March, 1827 died 22nd March 1915. In memory of his father, John Chapman (Dyer ) who died 23rd March, 1841 aged 39 yrs. and his mother, Edwina Liston, who died 5th June 1865 aged 64 yrs.
