Monumental Inscription (Section F.)
Erected in memory of Jane Newall, daughter of Walter Newall(Merchant) who died at Bensham on the 12th day of December 1847 and was buried in Whickam Churchyard. In memory of Walter Newall, (Merchant) who died 17th August 1846 aged 82 years. Also in memory of Jessy Hair, his wife, who died 28th May 1855 aged 84 years, and of Archibald Newall, (Surgeon) their son, who died 8th December 1852. In memory of Jackie Newall daughter of Walter Newall (Merchant) who died 23rd July, 1845.
