Monumental Inscription (Section D.)
Erected by David Jack, Shipmaster, in memory of his wife, Helen Taylor, who died 25th March, 1841 aged 52 years. Also four of their children who died in infancy and of their daughter Margaret, who died 4th June 1841 aged 16 years and his son, James, who died at sea 19th February 1847 aged 19 years. Also his daughter, Helen, wife of Thomas Cook , Shipmaster, Dundee, who died 13th March, 1850 aged 24 years and their infant son aged 4 days.
