Monumental Inscription (Section C.)
Erected by John Guillan, provision merchant, Dundee, in memory of his wife Jean Soutar who died 19th January 1848 aged 63 years and of his brother Thomas Guillan who died 18th March 1848 aged 62 years and of his only son John who died 25th December 1851 aged 28 years. Here rests the above John Guillan who departed this life on 14th January 1870 aged 88 years.
