Monumental Inscription (Section C.)

Erected by Margaret Scott in memory of her husband Andrew Whitton, shipmaster Dundee, who died 11th June 1839 aged 47 years.

Farewell pround Neptune`s waves You've tossed me to and fro,

Farewell you raging seas no more to you I'll go

But here I lie at anchor sure With many of the float Until that day we do set sail Our Saviour Christ to meet.
