Monumental Inscription (Section E.)

Erected to the memory of James Smellie (Merchant) who died 7th January, 1850 aged 43 years. And his son, John, who died, 4th May 1839 aged 6 years. Also his daughter, Janet, who died 26th July 1840 aged 9 months. Also his wife, Agnes Pinckerton, who died 15th May, 1860 aged 56 years. Sacred to the memory of William Low (Confectioner) who died 25th January, 1856 and his son William who died 27th March 1854. Also his infant daughter who died 19th November 1855.
