Monumental Inscription.
1869. Erected by John Davidson and Janet Peat his wife in memory of Joseph Peat her father died 3rd May, 1845 aged 70. Isabella Gellatly her mother died 16th March, 1847 aged 76. David Davidson his son died at West Indies of yellow fever 10th January, 1857 aged 19. John Peat her brother, captain of the 'Belivar' lost at sea 1862 aged 51. The above John Davidson, feuar, Lochee died 4th June 1872, aged 63.
