Monumental Inscription (Section C.)
Sacred to the memory of Robert Gray, Surgeon, who died in the Island of Jamaica on the 25th June 1812 aged 30 years also of his relict Barbara Brodie who died 6th October 1846 aged 62 years and whose remains are here interred.
Erected by John Low, Plumber Dundee, and Martha Jane Gray his wife in memory of their daughter Barbara Sinclair who died 28th February 1842 aged 1 year and 8 months also their son Robert Gray who was drowned on 21st May 1868 aged 33 years. The above John Low who died 29th May 1885 aged 76 years and Martha Jane Gray his widow died 18th December 1893 aged 84 years. ( Janet (Jessie) daughter of the above died 25th March 1892 aged 53 years.)
