Monumental Inscription (Section C.)

Sacred to the memory of John Dow, Innkeeper Logiealmond who departed this life on the 9th April 1848 aged 75 years and Marjory Reid spouse who died 14th June 1839 aged 62 years. Also their daughter Janet who died 1st February 1845 aged 40 years and their daughter Ann, wife of David Crabb, slater, Dundee, who died 18th October 1839 aged 30 years. (Their son John Crabb died 5th July 1844, aged 8 years. Alexander Fisher, their son-in-law died 18th December 1846, aged 48 years, his son David died 18th December 1840, aged 2 years and 6 months.)
